Pats seek Vet Taylor

I heard from a credible source that the Patriots are interested in unrestrcted free agent Jason Taylor. Taylor is entering his 12th season in the NFL. He is coming off a down year having injuries and a less productive year. Taylor would be a great addition to the Patriots pass rush. He is a hard working Veteran and a future hall of famer. I think they should also draft a younger player to learn from the vet. Bill Belichick met with Taylor in Miami to discuss the future of the two partys. What do you think of Jason Taylor possibly playing in New England?

Taylor or Peppers? Who do you like more?

Are you serious? Your credible source says Taylor and the news has Peppers? Who's your source some fat season ticket holder who hearded some barroom chatter? And nice mock draft. Eugene Monroe could go #1 overall and you don't have him in the first round! What's next you hear the Red Sox are interested in resigning Babe Ruth. You're too funny

ST Pat should pull his head out of his ass. He is adding nothing to the conversation, and his Bambino reference made no sense.

In reality, who really knows what the Patriots are ever going to do? Over the past 24 hours all of this Peppers talk has come down a notch too.

Taylor is now looking more and more like a realistic option, given that he is not going to command over 14 million, or ask to play a new position.

I think Jason Taylor makes more sense for the Patriots. Julius Peppers would be way to much of a hit to the salary cap. With contracts like Wilfork, Mankins and Seymore coming up it doesn't make sense to sign Peppers to a big contract or take on his 16 million dollar franchise tag. Eugene Monroe is a very talented tackle out of Virginia who will probly go top five. Check out my next 2 round mock draft in a month.

Do you think there's a change the Patriots could trade for Jay Cutler and get a bunch of picks from Denver for Brady? If we got 3 first round picks and Cutler I'd do it! Bill Belicheck & Josh McDaniels are homeboys so it could happen

Well the problem there is money. first round picks command alot of money and thats just not the Patriot way. Cutler isn't Brady in many ways either. He's got a cocky, cry baby attitude. Tom Brady is very respected in the patriots locker room. He's only thirty and plans on playing into his late thirties. I don't see that ever happening. I see Cutler ending up in Tampa Bay before he'd end up in New England. The Jets Bears and Lions could be a possibility as well.
